We work hard to ensure that pupils have the energy they need for their busy school week and are given lots of healthy and tasty choices about what they eat.

Our canteen staff provide a 'full plate' service, allowing each child to select a main item from the menu which comes accompanied with a carbohydrate item such as a baked potato or pasta, vegetables, and a dessert (fresh fruit is always available as an additional or alternative dessert option).

Menus adhere to the nutritional standards that came into effect from September 2008 and each child has the opportunity to have at least two portions from a selection of seasonable vegetables, salad and fruit with their meal. Bread and water are also available.

We also cater for a range of dietary needs, such as vegetarian or vegan, gluten free, lactose free and halal. If you would like to select one of these meal options, please contact the office to make your child's dietary requirements known.
