Coronavirus Update

From Friday 13 March, the guidance to schools on managing the spread of coronavirus has changed.

People with symptoms are no longer asked to call NHS 111, but rather to look for information on the NHS website and 111 online.

Anyone with a 'new, continuous' cough or high temperature has been asked to stay at home and self-isolate for seven days.

There are no planned changes to timetables or school opening. All Spencer Academies Trust schools will continue to open as usual, and to take specific public health advice on a daily basis.

Planned overseas travel from schools has been suspended. This will remain the case for the foreseeable future, and does not affect planned trips within the UK at this time.

Information about the simple steps families can take to limit the spread of coronavirus is available here.

Message from Kirsty Ryan, Principal at Wyndham Primary Academy

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Wyndham Primary Academy. A school where, through deep and purposeful relationships, we aim to connect with all our communities and build equity and well-being.

I believe that anyone can achieve anything through becoming independent and resilient, and through taking ownership of their life choices; no door is ever closed. I believe in curiosity, in learning for learning's sake, and in equality of opportunity.

My vision for Wyndham is that it will act as the beating heart of the communities it serves. We will imbue challenge and aspiration in all our communities through the development of our core values so that all learners achieve happiness, social equity and economic well-being; now and in the future. Our vision will be achieved through focusing our developments on learning centred leadership, personalised learning and developing an inspiring curriculum that produces high-achieving individuals who are highly sought after.

We are developing independence and resilience in all our learners and staff by focusing firmly on building positive relationships and a culture of challenge, aspiration and innovation. Central to this aim is our creative curriculum and our work to advance learning opportunities for all children at Wyndham. We welcome you to our school.
